Birth Registration Appointment
You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment has been booked. Please check your inbox and junk email folders.
We can't see you without an appointment. If you do not receive a confirmation email your appointment has not been confirmed, and the system will automatically delete the booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please wait 40 minutes and then try again. If you are having problems booking online, please call us on 01902 551234.
Registrations for births that took place in Wolverhampton are done via face to face appointments with our friendly team of registrars. You can register your baby at:
- the Register Office on the ground floor of the Civic Centre in Wolverhampton city centre, WV1 1SH (Monday to Friday)
- Graiseley Family Hub, Pool Street, WV2 4NE (Thursdays only)
- Wednesfield Family Hub, Graiseley Lane, WV11 1PE (Tuesdays only)
There are no payment facilities at the Hubs, so please make payment for any birth certificates online when you book your appointment. You can also apply online via the Wolverhampton Register Office website for certificates at any time after the registration, and the certificates will be posted to you.
Please try to bring with you:
- baby's red book from the hospital
- ID with respect to the parent(s)
- your marriage certificate if you're married
However, none of these items are essential, so don't worry if you can't find them.
If your appointment is at the Civic Centre, please report to Reception Desk 12 in the Customer Services reception when you arrive.
